our pastors

Kurt and Emily Chamberlain are the founding and lead pastors of City Lights Church. They have served the local church with all of their hearts since 2000. For nine of those years, they pastored college students and young adults full-time in Loveland, Colorado. They have had the dream of pioneering a new life-giving church for many years, and in January of 2018, that dream came to fruition with the launch of City Lights Church in Greeley Colorado.
They have been happily married since 2005, and they have two beautiful daughters, Trinity and Evie.

Kurt and Emily desire to help people to understand that they belong in Jesus's family, no matter what circumstances or background. They believe that when you experience the love of God and understand your identity in Christ, you can't help but shine this light and love everywhere you go.

When core values are put into practice it informs a church's culture. A.W. Tozer said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us". Our prayer is that these core values are reflected in the way we think, act, and engage our world.
