City Lights Kids Ministry - Frequently asked Questions

What is the kid's ministry?
City Lights Kids ministry is THE place to be on Sunday mornings for kiddos from birth-6th grade! We create a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere where your kids can encounter the love of Jesus, develop a deep relationship with Him, and make friends and memories in the process. It's so much fun, you may end up wishing you could attend.

So...what is Ignite then?
Ignite is a small group setting for our 5th and 6th graders that takes place on the first and third Sundays of each month. This class begins at the start of service and takes place in the youth room in the basement. Drop off and pick up will still happen at the elementary door. Trust us, they won't want to miss these special services.

Why do I have so many tags?
Because kids like stickers, right? Just kidding. It may seem like a lot of tags, but there is a purpose to each one of them. You get one tag to go on the child, one tag for the attendance sheet at the door, (and if your child is under the age of 4, you receive an additional tag to place on their diaper bag or bottle). The last, small tag is your security code!

What's the security code?
This dual-purpose code allows you to pick up your child after service, and lets you know if we need your assistance at any point during service. If you see this number on the screens in the sanctuary during service, please exit and find one of our amazing volunteers to help you locate your Child's room. Don't worry, our teams do their best to allow you to participate in as much of the service as possible. We'll only post your child's number if they truly need you.
